Happy November, IMA Family! The air is crisp, the leaves are changing and we've just celebrated Halloween. What a spooktacular season it’s been at Indianapolis Music Academy! From tiny ghouls strumming ukuleles to teenage K-Pop Demon hunter costumes rocking guitars, this year’s Halloween festivities brought out creativity, courage, and a whole lot of candy-fueled energy. We’re still smiling from all the costumes, giggles, and mini-concerts in the lobby. Thank you for making our academy feel like a true community of music and fun.

Holiday Breaks / Academy Closed Days!!Plan Ahead!

With the holidays approaching, here’s a quick look at our upcoming closures so you can adjust your practice schedules and family plans:

  • Thanksgiving Break: November 25 – 30 – Academy closed. Enjoy the turkey, pie, and extra time to practice!

  • Christmas Break: December 23 – January 1 – Academy closed. Use this time to rest, recharge, and maybe learn a holiday tune or two at home.

We’ll reopen with fresh energy in the new year—regular lessons resume January 2.

Winter Music Recitals – Your Moment to Shine!

As the holiday lights start twinkling, we’re gearing up for one of our favorite traditions: the IMA Winter Recitals! This is more than a performance—it’s a celebration of progress, confidence, and the joy of sharing music with family and friends. Whether it’s your first time on stage or your tenth, every note counts.

Haven’t signed up yet? There’s still time!

  • Choose your song (we’re happy to help if you need ideas).

  • Stop by the front desk to register.

  • Tell us your instrument and selection.

Registration fee: Just $15 per family. Important Change:

When: Saturday, November 15, 11:30am–3:00pm Sign Up: Email indylessons@gmail.com or visit the front desk. Pro Tip: Guitarists, ukulele players, and violinists—bring your instruments! Posing with your axe (or bow) makes for the coolest shots.

Refer a Friend – Share the Music, Share the Savings!

Love your lessons? Know someone who’s ready to start their musical journey? Our Referral Program makes it rewarding for everyone:

  • Your friend gets $30 off their first month of lessons.

  • You get $30 off your next month—just for spreading the word.

It’s simple, generous, and helps grow our IMA family. Talk to the front desk for referral cards or just send them our way—we’ll take it from there!

Thank you for being part of the music. See you in the practice rooms, on stage, and in the photos!

Warmly, The Indianapolis Music Academy Team
