PRACTICE TIME: How much time should you put into practicing? It does depend on level, age, and available time. 10 minutes every day is better than 1 hour once a week. You are better off if you have a consistent practice time every day. As a general guideline, beginners should practice 20 to 30 minutes a day and more advanced players should practice an hour every day. Important Dates Photo Day Saturday, Sept 26 Thanksgiving Break Nov 23 - Nov 29 Winter Recital Saturday, December 12 Christmas Break Dec 21 - Jan 2 Summer Recital 2020! Another recital is in the books and we had a great time and an incredibly successful recital. We had nearly 50 students perform on piano, guitar, drums, violin and voice. Our recital took place on July 17 at Garfield Christian Church and was our 4th recital. We have 2 recitals a year and our next will be on Saturday, December 12. Talk to your teacher and get signed up for our winter recital right away. If you are not a student and would like to participate in the next recital you should sign up for lessons today. Photo Day Our next photo day will be on Saturday, September 26. Register at our front desk for our photo day. There will be several time slots available from between 1pm and 4pm. Musical Ladder System In August Ryder earned his 3 year trophy on guitar. Ask your teacher about the Musical Ladder System and start earning your achievment awards.
